This policy explains how Tithara (operated by [Your full legal name]) handles your personal data, in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

• Account: email address and a securely hashed password.
• Birth details: name, date, time and place of birth (with coordinates and time zone).
• Questions you ask, chat replies, match checks (including the birth details you enter for another person) and reports.
• Wallet and payment records. Card and UPI details are handled by Razorpay — we never see or store them.

Why we use it

Only to provide the service: calculating your chart, answering your questions, generating reports, processing payments and support.

Who processes it

• MongoDB Atlas — database hosting.
• FreeAstroAPI — astronomical chart calculations.
• Google (Gemini API) — generating AI answers and reports.
• Razorpay — payment processing.

We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your data, or withdraw consent, by emailing [email protected]. We respond within 30 days. Deleting your account removes your birth details, chats and reports; payment records are kept as required by law.

Security

Passwords are hashed, sessions use secure HTTP-only cookies, and all traffic is encrypted in transit.
